and pleasing aromatics. Finishes slightly smokes with a hint of peat.

Gulden
Draak – [Belgian Triple] Powerful fragrance of barley, ripe
plums, and cherries and perhaps a sweet coffee aroma. Taste is

Samuel
Smith 'Yorkshire Stingo” [English Strong Ale] -
Rich flavors of toffee, dried fruit, rich caramel colliding with soft
oak notes. Bottle conditioning furthers the effect.
From
their website: Stingo is fermented in open-topped stone "Yorkshire
Squares," with the Samuel Smith ale yeast strain. It is then
aged for over a year in oak barrels that previously held
cask-conditioned ale, gaining complexity and depth from the wood.
Bottle conditioning - bottling the beer with live yeast for
carbonation - produces soft conditioning as well as a fruity aroma
and finish; it also allows Stingo to age and develop in the bottle
for many months. Please
note: Stingo has the year brewed on the back label. Due to barrel
aging, the release year is one year after the year brewed.
Good
People [Pale Ale] –
Complex yet balanced approach with a crisp finish that enticed yet
another sip. 8.99 6-pak
Avondale
“Spring Street” [Saison]
– The softer approach than the “traditional” saison let this
beer be a great introduction to the category. Refreshing farmhouse
ale is not an everyday term. Slight golden color, filled with a
maltiness meets fruity meets spicy = sassy. 8.99 22oz
Splurge
worthy: Scaldis “Cote de
Nuit” Starting with a Burgundy Château, Hospice de Nuits Saint
George. And ending with an amazing complex taste that will soon be
legend. The red wine barrel notes married perfectly the slight malt
sweetness and apricot notes colliding with amazing tones of f cherry,
oak, tobacco, Pinot Noir and bitter chocolate. Fermented three times
